Obtain a travel visa
Delegates from countries that require a visa to enter the United Kingdom are reminded that the process of obtaining a visa can take a minimum of three months. You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process early in your home country.
The http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/visiting/ web site includes visa information for visitors to the UK.
If you are unsure whether you will need a visa, there is a tool to guide your application: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/do-you-need-a-visa/
There is also a tool to estimate how long it may take to process your visa based on the country you apply from: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/general-info/processing-times/
